Security in Government - SIG 2005
BQT Solutions Limited (Australia) is pleased to announce the company has completed a very successful showing of its Mifare smart card and biometric access control applications at the Security in Government Conference/Exhibition (SIG 2005), held on the 10th to 12th of May in Canberra, ACT - Australia.
The conference and exhibition was attended by many Government and Defence departments, which is a main target area for BQT because of the high security solutions that we provide.
A new stand was built specifically for this exhibition and the upcoming CeBIT exhibition in Sydney later this month. The stand was built to demonstrate the smart card and fingerprint readers working in conjunction with BQT's SmaX access control system and the LG IrisAccess 3000 (iris recognition), which is completely compatible with BQT's smart card access control solutions.
Also on display for the first time in Australia was a 3D facial recognition system from BQT's partner A4 Vision, who recently won "Best in Show" for their 3-D facial vision unit at the recent ISC West exhibition in Las Vegas where BQT Solutions Inc also exhibited.
As a result of SIG 2005, BQT's branding & position in the high security area of the Australia government strengthened, with projects to be completed by the end of financial year and many potential projects to follow.

CeBIT 2005
The recent CeBIT exhibition held on the 24th - 26th of May at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour was another great success for BQT Solutions. This was the first time BQT had attended a CeBIT exhibition, and it certainly won't be the last.
The response to our range of Biometric products, including Iris Recognition and Fingerprint door locks was outstanding. Also on display was the PC Login software "Biometric Pro 5" which can be used for PC and Network login, Single -Sign-On for websites and encryption for local or network accessed folders.
As well we had on display BQT's core range of products, including smart cards readers for physical and logical access control requirements.
