The YG10 is a low voltage motor driven lock suited for securing vehicle and pedestrian gates. It has a rating of IP65 so is suitable for outdoor use in unprotected environments.
To get the convenience and security of electric locking without compromising on strength. The YG10 will allow or prevent access remotely and automatically secure the gate once closed if desired.
A lock is mounted on the fence post next to the gate. A strike is secured to the gate and aligns with the lock when the gate is closed. In common operation simply closing the gate will activate the lock and it will automatically drive the lock pin out to engage with the strike and secure the gate. Unlocking is achieved by sending the lock a signal from an entry or exit device (keypad, push button, remote, etc) which can be connected directly to the lock or via an access control system.
The strength and functions that the YG10 offer make it a standout in its category. An extremely high rated holding force of 30,000N, door monitor and bolt locked and separate unlocked monitor and varied voltage input are standard features.
The YG10 is designed for outdoor use and can be mounted horizontally or vertically locking down.
The YG10 uses power as it locks and unlocks. When operating on 12VDC the lock will use less than 300mA in activation. After it has completed its locking / unlocking action the YG10 goes into a standby mode to reduce power usage. Less than 15mA is used in this standby state.
