BQT's miPASS range of Mifare (13.56MHz) Keypad readers delivers secure dual authentication security features in the one package.

The 3 Series reader is designed for applications where a high-level of security is required by combining smart card identification with a personal identification number (PIN) for secure user authentication and verification.

The Keypad provides an extra level of security for user authentication with the addition of a PIN to grant or deny access. The PIN can be stored in the memory of the miPASS card or sent as a Wiegand string in various formats. Authentication can be configured for card only, card + PIN or PIN only and the it supports industry standard PINPAD formats.

The 3 Series readers have and LCD screen with the ability to display system messaging. Messages can be pre-defined; such as PRESENT CARD, ENTER PIN, ACCESS DENIED and ACCESS GRANTED or customised when connected to an access control system.

Ideal for new site installations or security upgrades of existing systems using `Swipe' or `Prox' (125 KHz) card and reader technologies, it offers a cost effective enhancement to your current access control system.
