miPASS - Mifare Contactless Smart Cards



The miPASS smart card has an imbedded chip which is available in 1 & 4 Kbytes of EEPROM. The card has a write endurance of 100,000 cycles. The card can support mulitple applications on the ccard, each with its own dedicated keys and memory area.

The smart card chip is divided equally into 16 Sectors with 4 blocks and 16 bytes in each. The memory is be used for storing user data such as access code information or biometric templates. Each of these sectors contains 2 sets of security encryption keys labelled Key A & Key B, which only match the same keys on on a BQT miPASS Reader.

BQT Solutions only use original Philips chips in the miPASS smart card range, thus ensuring a long life and increased read range,compared with other Mifare chips that are available in the market.
