Milogin is a Windows based PC login application that provides secure user verifciation by means of a smart card for access to a PC. Users are verified using either an enrolled smart card, smart card + PIN or smart card + fingerprint.

Users can automate the ‘shutdown’ or ‘log off’ process to secure the PC by the removal of the smart card from miB/miC miPASS Series PC readers. Traditional usernames and passwords may be used to provide access to personnel who do not have cards issued to them.

The main login screen will appear once the PC has booted up.

If a PC Series Reader (miB or miC) is detected, the screen will promt the user to insert a smart card and verify idenitify with a fingerprint or PIN.

Traditional user name and passwords can be used in the absence of a smart card.

Administration of the cards can be carried out centrally on a domain/network using Milogin Admin Edition or at the users PC. Milogin Client Edition is used for workstation development by a system administrator.
