Designed to work with challenging panels, data, and readers; the data converter will encrypt communications between the BQT Reader and the panel as well as convert access data between Weigand, ODSP, and RS485.

This product has been designed to provide data security not normally possible for a wiegand access control system. By pairing an HSM with an HSM-ready BQT reader, access data is sent across site in a fully AES encrypted format from the reader all the way to the module. This module can be installed securely alongside the access control panel and will convert the access data into the compatible wiegand format right at the destination.
